2001 - First Steps into China In 2001
I embarked on my journey in China, commencing my career with a British outdoor furniture company. This marked the initiation of my profound involvement in the industry.
2004 - Birth of Soverklas Design in Singapore
Culminating years of industry knowledge, I founded Soverklas Design in Singapore. This laid the foundation for what would later become Soverklas Design International, with a focus on outdoor furniture trading.
2007 - Soverklas Design International from trading to manufacturing
Venturing into outdoor furniture manufacturing. This endeavor aimed to cater specifically to the hospitality sector, providing Stainless Steel and Aluminum furniture for hotels and resorts.
International Recognition: Projects in Maldives and Singapore Under my guidance, Soverklas Design International gained prominence with international projects, including manufacturing outdoor furniture for the Jewel in Singapore Changi Airport and various resorts in the Maldives.
2016 - Expansion to Hong Kong
Recognizing Hong Kong's strategic advantage for our Chinese operations, I established a company on February 26, 2016. This move aimed to streamline and enhance our overall business operations.
2017: Collaboration for Sustainable Tourism
In collaboration with Mr. Su Yaobang from Hong Kong, we explored tourism development opportunities in Hunan and Hubei provinces, China. With a focus on sustainability, our aim is to transform tourism into a model of sustainable development, utilizing profits from outdoor furniture exports to attract overseas investors for projects in China.
2019: Entry into Tourism Development
Expanding our horizons, I founded Zhangjiajie Taohua Valley Tourism Development Company. This marked a pivotal shift into the tourism sector, with a significant project - Darling Stream Park Integration resort in Zhangjiajie.
2021: Sustainable Tourism Vision
Setting sights on a new frontier, I assembled a dynamic team in China dedicated to pioneering sustainable tourism development. The goal is to transform tourism projects into green hydrogen-powered resorts, aiming for carbon neutrality across all developments.
Present: Soverklas Design International Today
as the visionary leader of Soverklas Design International, I continue to lead with a passion for sustainability and innovation. Our company has evolved from a trading agent to a collaborator with renowned European companies, contributing to projects worldwide while shaping extraordinary destinations that harmonize luxury, sustainability, and innovation.
