Located near the Zhangjiajie West Railway Station, the 72 Strange Buildings Scenic Area sits in Shadi Town of Yongding District, adjacent to Wulingshan Avenue stretching from downtown Zhangjiajie to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. This site, heralded as a new cultural icon in Zhangjiajie, boasts a towering height of 109.9 meters, earning it the prestigious title of the world's tallest Tujia stilted building according to Guinness World Records. Unveiled in August 2022, it has swiftly emerged as a prominent landmark in Zhangjiajie. As dusk descends, the air fills with the rhythmic beats of Tujia drums and the melodic tunes of local singers atop the old stage, accompanied by vibrant displays of colorful lights that illuminate the surroundings, casting a spell of magnificence.
